Adventures in Acting - back to top
Through fun games and activities, students will be encouraged to use their own imaginations to create new characters and explore new worlds. A great introduction to the theatrical arts.
Grades: K-1
Day and Time: Saturdays 9:00am – 9:25am (Session A)

Through fun games, activities, and exercises, students will develop their skills in voice, movement, and theatrical performance.
(Acting Classes are a prerequisite to the Theatre Projects.)

Students will apply their theatrical skills in an original play which will be performed for family, friends, and community on the last day of class.
(Prerequisite: Theatre Academy Acting Class)

Playwriting Classes - back to top
For students who wish to explore their creative writing skills and apply them to a theatrical setting. In these classes, students will work to develop their own original scripts, which then can be submitted for use in the Theatre Project classes.
Tuition: $45/quarter session

Beyond the Stage - back to top
These classes are designed for students who wish to explore and expand upon their theatrical skills and talents outside of a performance setting. Each specialized class has something different to offer.
Prerequisite: Theatre Academy classes or STAR
Grade: 6 and up.
Day and Time: Saturdays, 4:30pm - 5:25pm
In this class, students will learn how to properly apply stage
make-up and will explore the basis of theatrical make-up
design.
Dates: Sept 24 - Nov 5 (No class Oct 22)
Tuition: $65 (includes cost of supplies)
Students in this class will learn how a mask can be used as a
tool in character development, will explore masks in a
performance-style setting, and will get a chance to create their
own masks.
Dates: Nov 12 - Dec 17
Tuition: $65 (includes cost of supplies)
In this class, students will explore the world of puppets, will
experiment with different styles of puppetry, and will get the
opportunity to create their own puppets.
Dates: Feb 18 - Mar 24
Tuition: $65 (includes cost of supplies)
Students in this class will get to work with scenes and
monologues from some of William Shakespeare's most famous
plays. They will then apply what they've learned in a final
performance on the last day of class, which will be held
(weather permitting) outside in the lovely spring air.
